What to expect
We are thrilled to provide young athletes with a unique and enriching baseball experience that goes beyond just training. Our camps are designed to foster a love for the game while imparting essential skills and techniques in a fun and supportive environment.

Fall Baseball Camp 2 day Plan

Players will check in, receive a shirt, and player number for their player profile
Players will be assigned to different groups depending on age and position.

We are excited to announce we will be having guest coaches from the “Old Pueblo Tribe” (a team with college and professional athletes), a professional speed coach, and other professional players as far as Kansas City!
Pitching: Seth Christiansen from Tucson Saguaros and Kansas City minor league baseball will be leading the pitching groups with the help of other guest coaches!
Fielding: Michael Vasquez, starting third baseman for the Old Pueblo Tribe, will be leading the infield groups with the help of other guest coaches!
Hitting: Head Coach Art, 4 year collegiate athlete and owner of Zora, will be leading the hitting groups with the help of other coaches!
Speed: Sam Medina, professional speed trainer at JET Sports Training, will be taking each group one by one to implement their speed and agility training!
Catching: Hector Torres, Old Pueblo Tribes star catcher will be leading the catching groups!

Players will be split into teams and face against the machines!
We will run simulated baseball games, all calls will be judged by the coaches!

Day 2 is all about applying what you’ve learned!
Coaches will have a draft based on the player profiles made the day before.
College and Professional experience: on field Batting practice, infield, and outfield warmups, one team at a time.
Teams will clash against one another with a slight twist on the rules for maximum fun!
End with special giveaways to players that showed great effort, sportsmanship, and improvement!

CAMP FAQ

· What ages can attend the camp? Ages 11 - 13
· Do players need prior baseball experience? we recommend 2+ years experience but we welcome beginners through advanced players. Coaches adjust instruction to meet each player where they’re at.
· Where is the camp held? Camp will be hosted at the Hitting Factory in Marana, AZ
· What are the camp dates and times? October 7: 8am - 2pm. October 8th: 9 am - 1pm
· How early can I drop off my child and when is pickup? Check in opens 15 minutes before camp starts but coaches will be there 30 minutes early for earlier drop offs. We ask that players are picked up within 15 minutes after camp ends

· How do I register for the camp? You can register online through our website. Spots are limited so we recommend signing up early
· Is there a registration deadline? Yes, registration deadline is October 5th or once spots fill up
· What is the cost of the camp? $200 for 2 days, $139 for 1 day
· Do you offer sibling or team discounts? Yes, we offer 50% off for siblings and existing private Kova Members
· What is your refund or cancellation policy? If you need to cancel refunds are available up to oct 5th. After that, there will be no more refunds allowed but we can add credit towards future camps or 1 on 1 trainings!

· What should players bring to camp? All of there baseball equipment, tennis shoes and cleats, baseball pants, (shirts will be provided). (Light snack optional)
· sandwiches will be provided on the first day at ~ 11:15 am
· Will water be available at the fields? Water will be available
· Do players get a camp T-shirt or gear? They will get t-shirts
· How many players will be in each group? Groups will be kept small to maximize instruction and reps
· Who are the coaches/instructors at the camp? Head coach and owner Art. Assistant coaches: professional and college athletes and coaches.

· What safety measures are in place? Player safety is out top priority. Coaches will supervise all drills closely and we maintain a proper ratio to ensure a safe learning experience
· Do you provide athletic trainers or medical staff? We do not have a full time trainer but we will have multiple coaches who are CPR/ First aid certified and trained
· How do you handle injuries during camp? Parents are contacted immediately if a players is injured. For minor scrapes, coaches have first aid kits on site.

· What skills will players learn at camp? We focus on building fundamentals while honing your players skills: Hitting, Pitching, fielding, baserunning, and game awareness. Players also learn teamwork, confidence, and a love for the game
· Will there be live games or scrimmages? Yes, players will have a chance to compete in controlled scrimmages toward the end of the camp to apply what they learned
· How do you group players (by age, skill, or position)? Players are grouped by both age and skill so everyone gets the right balance of challenge and success.
· Will parents be allowed to watch the sessions? Yes parents will be allowed and welcomed to stay and watch from designated viewing areas.

Release of Liability and Waiver
Acknowledgement of Risks
I understand that participating in a baseball camp involves inherent risks of injury, including but not limited to physical injury, sprains, strains, fractures, being struck by a ball or bat, and other possible accidents. I acknowledge that Zora Athletics will make every effort to ensure the safety of all participants, but such risks cannot be entirely eliminated.
Voluntary Participation
I acknowledge that participation in Zora Athletics’ youth baseball camp is voluntary, and my child has my permission to participate. I affirm that my child is in good physical health and capable of engaging in baseball-related physical activity.
Assumption of Risk
I, on behalf of my child, voluntarily assume all risks associated with participating in Zora Athletics’ youth baseball camp, including risks of injury that may arise during camp activities, travel to and from the event, and the use of any facilities, equipment, or vehicles provided.
Release of Liability
I hereby release and hold harmless Zora Athletics, its officers, employees, agents, coaches, volunteers, and any other parties involved in the camp from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action of any kind, arising out of or in connection with my child's participation in the baseball camp. This release applies to all claims for personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death arising from or in any way related to participation in the camp.
Medical Treatment Authorization
In the event of an emergency, I authorize Zora Athletics, its agents, or employees to seek emergency medical treatment for my child as deemed necessary. I also agree to assume full responsibility for any costs associated with medical treatment or emergency services that may be required during the camp.
Photos and Media
I consent to the use of my child’s image, likeness, and/or voice in any promotional material, media, website, or social media posts related to Zora Athletics’ activities, without compensation.
Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zora Athletics from any and all claims, liabilities, and expenses, including attorney’s fees, arising out of my child's participation in the camp, including any actions caused by my child’s own conduct.
Severability
If any portion of this waiver is deemed invalid by a court, the remainder shall remain in full force and effect.
Governing Law
This Release and Waiver shall be governed by the laws of the state in which Zora Athletics is based.
Acknowledgment of Agreement
By checking the box above, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and voluntarily accept the terms of this Release of Liability and Waiver.
